Motivo is a collection designed by Ronan Bouroullec that draws inspiration from the tradition of wood paneling, reinterpreted in a contemporary way through ceramic. It is a modular system that simultaneously protects and characterizes walls, delineating the space with lightness and depth. Born from childhood memories of grandparents' homes and inspired by the interiors of old Scottish castles, Motivo is an act of care, a surface that interacts with light and enriches the space without overpowering it. This combination of linear geometric elements with opaque tiles creates a play of shadows and reliefs that uniquely characterizes the wall.
