Mutina and Patricia Urquiola sought to revive artisanal terracotta techniques. Elements emerge from the earth, imperfect and material, marked by the hand of man and the passage of time. Roof tiles, bricks, perforated bricks, and shutters are dismantled, deconstructed, and reinterpreted in a new way while preserving a traditional soul. The desire to transcend the two-dimensionality of wall cladding translates into experimentation with the three-dimensionality of brick, giving rise to a new design element with high aesthetic and functional content, offering infinite application solutions for both indoors and outdoors. Celosia's shape evokes the Roman numeral system. The sequence in which it is installed creates dynamic and unique patterns.
