Terramater is a celebration of matter, a collection produced with Italian clays and earths that recovers the aesthetics of handmade ceramic surfaces. Earth, water, hands and fire were once put to the service of the artisanal production of vases, tools and tiles. Today, those same elements characterise Marazzis industrial production and give life to unique, rich surfaces steeped in memory. The deliberately generous thickness, the irregular edges and the imperfect and shiny surface make the artisanal inspiration explicit. In the name of quality and sustainability, Terramater is produced with Italian raw materials and contains 60% recycled material. The collection is available in seven intense and deep colours Vaniglia, Dune, Muschio, Lichene, Laguna, Cotto and Carbone generated by the reaction between glazes and natural oxides. The formats are square 37.5x37.5, rectangular 37.5x18.6 and strip 37.5x9.1, with which to create orthogonal, running, coffered or herringbone poses.
