A flooring concept able to guarantee accessibility and safety, developed with a view to paying greater attention to the real, practical needs of the visually impaired, as well as taking care of the various different needs at the planning and design stage. The system of symbols used is limited and simplified, and, most importantly, is internationally recognised: lines and semicircles of a size easily distinguishable by sight or tread, in order to guarantee mobility, autonomy and safety: furthermore, strips of a different colour from the surrounding flooring are applied so as to guarantee a colour contrast that can be distinguished by the visually impaired. Easyway is a new way to ensure environments can be used in complete safety and in an interactive, dynamic manner, thus guaranteeing all users the greatest possible independence.
