Description

Design and sustainability are the foundation of Materica, made entirely of undecorated porcelain stoneware. Materica begins with Puro, the pure, unadulterated stoneware, the "masculine material" that so captivated sculptor Galileo Chini when he discovered its power and expressive power. Puro is the color of stoneware as it appears, without variations. It is the true body of the porcelain stoneware slab, mixed with recycled powders to create the other shades in the range, inspired by the simplicity of nature: Magnolia, Chia, Miglio, Papavero, Fiordaliso, Salvia, and Lavanda.
