The collection's repertoire of large slabs features motifs inspired by two distinct sources: on the one hand, the noble, ever-surprising veining of specific metamorphic rocks, and on the other, the refined chromatic fields of Marmorino. These two materials, albeit in different ways, reference Italy's historic building culture. The geometry of a round arch is then used to suggest combinations of the two decorations within the same ceramic, which takes on the appearance of a marvelous inlaid area, paired with other similar ones to generate a rich array of figurative textures and potential two-dimensional designs, each characterized by a specific visual impact.
