The Desvres Ariana brand combines the experience of two historic brands on the international ceramics scene to offer the market a new approach to living space design, applicable to both indoor and outdoor areas, symbolised by the logo in which the letters V and A form a kind of link between the two predecessor entities. Ariana, founded in the province of Reggio Emilia in 1967, has consolidated its market presence in the medium and high-end tile segment with new production technologies and porcelain stoneware collections including slabs and large-size tiles. Since its acquisition by ABK Group in 2021, French ceramics company Desvres, founded in 1863, has been the subject of a large investment plan mainly focused on its historic production hub in Boussois, where new tile sizes, including extra-thick versions for outdoor paving, have been introduced.
