Modeled on a variety of granite called Plima, the collection combines the innumerable technical-design advantages of porcelain stoneware with the natural appearance and structure of an extremely rare stone. It was in fact a local entrepreneur who discovered it in the 1980s when he had a large boulder extracted from the banks of the Rio Plima cut, thus revealing a sparkling gray-blue granite. This South Tyrolean pegmatite with unique characteristics is distinguished by its wavy texture, studded with brilliant crystalline formations and light-dark streaks distributed in a varied way on the surface.
